Pacquiao/Mayweather Fight

And so the fight of the century happened yesterday...

The much awaited Pacquiao and Mayweather fight!

My thoughts, and my prediction was right from the get go. Either Pacquiao needs to knock Mayweather out or he will loose by decision.

The anticipation, combined with anxiousness, nervousness, all the butterfly feeling that you get when you're too excited for something before the fight was plain annoying but yet I couldn't help thinking my gut feeling could be wrong and there could be a miracle and Pacquiao may land a lucky timed punch during the fight. Again, all we can do is hope for the best.

The fight was generally boring. Pacquaio did most of the attacking and Mayweather was always on the defense. Then came round 12, a unanimous decision to the American!

A lot of people were dissatisfied with the fight. Claiming all that Mayweather did was run (which is true) and no action packed boxing that they craved for.

Well, in my opinion, boxing is a strategic sport - from preparing yourself till recovery time You have to use your head. Mayweather just did that, he knew his strength (great defense and a great counter puncher) and utilized it until the end. If you want an action packed fight, go to the Middle East and fight the ISIS or watch MMA instead. Then came the excuse that Manny was injured before the fight bla bla bla...The list goes on. Enough memes, enough excuses and get on back with life people!

I have to be honest, I wanted Manny to win but sometimes in life, good guys finish last!

Humble Manny versus Showboat Floyd. It was a hyped up match to gain revenue and was a business transaction in the end.

The beginning...

So here I am after years of procrastinating in starting this wonderful journey of online blogging.

I must say, growing up loving all the geeky stuff, studying and working in IT, I am a late bloomer when it comes to these things.

I wonder who am I writing this for? It's online, it's public, anyone can see it!

Now I'm sitting here, at home, with two of my puppies (Reggie and Charlie) both asleep under my desk not knowing how to start this journey.

Through the years, I have always wanted to blog about something, anything really, mostly rants about life in general and messed up situations I have been in.

I have always been good in expressing my thoughts and feelings through this so called freedom of writing. Write what you feel, feel what you write.

Anyways, I guess that's it for tonight. Until next time my blog!
